Friday 28th April  ~ Brandreth, 2344ft

we were on our way to Great Gable from Honister Pass but turned back due to worsening weather

here he's taking pictures of Ennerdale and Buttermere before the cloud closes in  ~ here's the result:

Saturday 29th April  ~  Barf and Lord's Seat

on top of Lord's Seat, 1811ft

Lord's Seat. Skiddaw in the background. Barf at right.

Barf, 1536ft. Low hill, steep climb, excellent viewpoint.

The panorama of Bassenthwaite Lake, Skiddaw, the vale of Keswick and the distant Helvellyn ridge.
