Sat 19th onwards  ~ to the Lake District for walks on the Uldale and Caldbeck Fells

Monday April 28th  ~  the Cockups and Meal Fell from Orthwaite

Wednesday 30th April   ~  walking the Cumbrian Way above Glenderaterra Beck en route to Skiddaw House

 

 

 the shooting lodge, Skiddaw House, is hidden amongst the trees  ~ however, we turned back here

 

 

 

 

 our return journey:  400 ft above the Glenderaterra Beck, the Cumbrian Way traverses the eastern slopes of Lonscale Fell

 

 

hit by hail storm on the way back above Lonscale Farm

the aftermath: the flooded path feeds the Whit Beck

 

 

Thursday 1st May  ~  Binsey
